How to overcome this Stage fright
Practice!! Practice!!
Practice makes confident performer.
What’s most important is that you help your child practice in specific ways. Encourage her to rehearse the presentation as much as possible before the big day.
Your child speaks in front of a mirror or record and then watch herself to understand what she does well and how she can improve.
As a parent/educator talk with them about the substance and attempt to give the best possible substance information and clear their image of execution or speech
Ease into Eye Contact
While making eye contact in front of
an audience is important, explain to your child that there are ways
to fake this if doing so makes them nervous. She/he can look at the
tops of people’s heads, brows, or the edges of their glasses.
Small Performance Opportunities
These can straightforward activities
or a piece performed before their families, enabling youngsters to
present themselves, allowing the kid a chance to make their own
melody. I also recommend making it a fun environment to get things
wrong and don’t feel embrace because strengthening is the part of
learning.
Calm and Confidence
There is no one superior than parents and educators who can easily give them encouragement and boost the kid’s confidence. Use these magic sentences “You are the best. I know” “My Darling, I am with you always”. “It’s Ok All other kids are also Nervous”. “You are my real Hero.”
The best way to calm down the brain with strategies like meditating, slow deep breathing and loosening up the muscles.
Don’t Compare
Every kid is unique and I strongly believe in that. Competitiveness definitely is a driving force towards performance. But is this working for your child? Appreciate the effort, praise the strengths instead of comparing with other kids. Practically speaking, parents can either build or break the confidence and self-esteem of their child. Don’t not make him/her feel that he/she has let you down or embarrassed you.
Always support your child. Provide unconditional support and love to them.
Best Of Luck!!
